Under assessment in foster care
More about me
So far i like everything, i want to play all the time and love learning and i love my food.
The type of home I'm looking for
I need a home that will help me learn some manners as i get to excited and forget myself.
From his foster mum ...
Rupert has been with us for a full week now. He's full of energy and fun! He was pulling on his lead to begin with but has cracked that now and walks nicely.
Rupert absolutely loves his food and will do anything for a treat. We used some treats for about 30 minutes on a walk and he learnt in that time how to sit 😊 seems like he picks up basically commands pretty easily. Rupert's re call wasn't the best to begin with but he has improved massively and comes back to the his name 9/10 times. Rupert would win the award for the biggest bin raider!!! Have had to barricade kitchen door at night to stop him 😂 he plays well with buddy, has sniffed at a few other dogs on walks but can sometimes have a little bark. Rupert can be left alone, he sleeps in his crate no problems and doesn't bark. He sleeps in crate at night no problems too. he's just a giant lovable friendly boy!
Update from his foster mum Sarah
Rupert has come on leaps and bounds in the 2 weeks we have had him. He is now toilet trained, he will sit when told, no longer follows me around the house he will relax on his own in the living room, no more jumping up and his re call is amazing. He is a quick learner but he can be very cheeky sometimes. Walking awesome on the lead, hasn't barked at other dogs when out walking. Tail is always wagging and he is always happy to see any humans! He still needs to grow in to that massive head of his and his giant paws
