Fostering enquiry form

Important information to consider before applying:
  • We only require foster homes in SCOTLAND.
  • We are sorry but we are not able to place any foster dogs in homes that have children under the age of 12 years old.
  • We require pet free homes.
  • Somebody at home a lot to begin with.
  • We can't put a time line on how long a foster will be with you.

Dogs who come from the pound are assessed by the pound then ourselves, please remember the kennel environment is very different from a home environment and we can't guarantee their behaviour will be the same within a household.

We are a very small rescue, run by volunteers and we are unable to reach out to every application. If you do not hear from us within 12 weeks, please assume you have been unsuccessful.

What happens next

When you foster a dog for Staffie Smiles Rescue, not only do you get a whole load of staffie love but you get to meet new friends on a foster walk.

Our foster walks are to help with the continued socialisation of the dogs in our care and for our fosterers and coordinators to share advice and pass on information about our dogs.
