Staffie Smiles Rescue - March Update
Bingo Tea Fundraiser
We ran our Bingo Tea Fundraiser at the start of March and we couldn't believe the turn out! it was so busy, we can't thank our supporters enough.
It was such a great day, we had great games of Bingo and also talking to people about the rescue and how to foster/adopt ect, we love meeting new people and speaking about the Rescue.
A huge thanks to our volunteers who ran this event, our supporters for all donations and attending and also The Hub in Perth for letting us use there facilities, the event was a huge success and we raised over £1000 - so thank you so much!

New Arrival - Daffy💗
We were made away of Daffy who had been found as a stay and then found herself in the pound, she was at risk of PTS so we offered a place for Daffy with us.
Daffy is deaf and extremely underweight, sore skin, broken teeth and a few suspicious lumps. Daffy's tale is completely heart-breaking, it has totally broken our hearts. Daffy has likely been kept in a crate in her own urine and faeces, her legs and underbody is completely stained yellow with urine, Daffy has broken her teeth from trying to escape the crate and chew her way out.
When Daffty arrived we put out an appeal for her, to help with funds for all her vet work. We can't thank our supporters enough for there generous donations and support, Daffy is now safe in a loving foster home.

We have set up an online Staffie Smiles Rescue Shop - all funds go directly to helping our dogs and being able to save more dogs. Val Has been adopted 💗
Val was adopted at the start of March, she has settled in so well into her new home. Val is loving all the new countryside walks and has made best friends with the grandchildren. Val has made herself at home, getting the good sunbathing spots! whilst enjoying trips to Pets at Home and meeting new doggy friends.

Foster Homes Needed
We are in desperate need for Foster Homes, unfortunately we can't bring in anymore dogs as we have no kennel space or free fosterers.
Being a fosterer is a commitment but we are always here to support and help you, we also provide you with what you need and if behaviourist support is required.
As you can see from the photo of Snowy, what a difference it makes to dogs being in a foster home compared to kennels, it means we can fully assess them in a home and find out what home they need.
We need pet free homes, secure gardens and somebody around most of the day to let the dogs decompress, please see link below for more information.

Forever Foster - Hope
Our beautiful Hope is just living her best life! Hope is one of the lucky ones.
Hope is really coming out her shell in her forever home, she is enjoying her walks especially with her friend Apollo and her dog walker. Apollo and Hope are so good for each other, they really bring out each others confidence! Its so nice to see Hope making friends, she is such a happy friendly girl, who is a big goofball and makes everyone smile.
Hope was spayed at the start of the year and recovered so well, we also had her ears checked and she got a clean bill of health!
