Stall Update - LauderWe are attending the BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring on Sunday 8th June in Lauder, we will have a stall and would love to see you!
Set in the beautiful grounds of Thirlestane Castle, in the Scottish Borders, the BVAC Classic is the premier classic car show for all the family, in Scotland. It combines over 1,000 wonderful classic and vintage cars, with fabulous Scottish food, drink, retail and displays, making it a wonderful day out for the whole family. Vinni has been adopted💗
We are so happy that Vinni has been adopted, he has been waiting a while for his Forever Home, but it was well worth the wait!
Vinni has moved up to the Highlands with his new family and what a life he has, he has a huge garden to play with his ball in and a paddling pool! There has been trips to the beach and the woods, he has slotted in so well with his family and has even landed himself a spot in the bed.
We are so happy for you Vinni and can't wait to watch more of your adventures.

Welcome to the Staffie Sofa Club The rescue pays all the medical bills for the dogs and the dog is with its own family until its their time to go to the bridge. We are so lucky to have these families for the dogs. They are happy, loved and cherished and every day is a blessing. We know how much love our dogs receive and a donation of £5 each month will go a long way for us to continue to provide spaces for our Staffie Sofa Club. Training Classes
Dobby has been attending training classes in Fife now for a few weeks and our new boy Ollie has been joining him to, we are biased but there is quite a few staffies at the classes, so we love it & get to catch up with some of our adopted dogs to!
The classes are brilliant for working around dogs, being neutral, working on impulse control, basic training ect - our dogs are really thriving!

Lily (was Annie) has been adopted 💗
Lily (was Annie), didn't wait to long to find her forever home! Lily has the most amazing home in the countryside with a huge garden and the beach on the door step, Lily's mum and dad have recently retired and looking forward to lots of adventures!
Lily now has a huge garden, abundance of toys and has also started going out with a local dog walker, she is so dog friendly - so this is great for her!

Foster Homes Needed
We are in desperate need of Foster Homes.
Being a fosterer is a commitment but we are always here to support and help you, we also provide you with what you need and if behaviourist support is required.
As you can see from the photo of Snowy, what a difference it makes to dogs being in a foster home compared to kennels, it means we can fully assess them in a home and find out what home they need.
We need pet free homes, secure gardens and somebody around most of the day to let the dogs decompress, please see link below for more information.

Kilt Walk - Raise funds for Staffie Smiles

A few volunteers are doing the Kilt Walk to raise funds for Staffie Smiles Rescue, would you like to join us? It is a brilliant event and a great achievement, all whilst raising vital funds. There are 3 distances you can choose from between 5-21 miles and is Sunday 14th September (Edinburgh) If you are interested in joining us, please drop us an email [email protected] and we will put together a team! |
Dafffy has been adopted 💗
We are over the moon that Daffy has been adopted and we couldn't have asked for a better home for her! you will remember Daffy came to us in a terrible state, it was truly heart breaking!
Daffy went to a foster home and her foster mum has nursed her back to health, she has been so patient and loving to Daffy and it shows. Daffy's foster mum has adopted Daffy, it was just meant to be. Daffy is loving life she has a garden to sunbathe in, with all her beds, toys and is now enjoying walks, she loves going to the local park and woods. We can't wait to watch Daffy's adventures and living the life all dogs should have.

Pupps - donation to our dogs

A huge thanks to Pupps who sent us a range of supplements for our dogs in kennels and foster to try. As much as we try and use a range of food/products our dogs in kennels can suffer from kennel stress and itchy skin, so hopefully these supplements will also help! Rocky has been using the itchy skin supplements, he is a big fan of them! We also have a few oldies in our forever fosters, so will send out the hip and joint supplements to them. Thanks again Pupps for supporting our rescue. |
Secure Fields - how to help.
Quite a few of our dogs looking for homes are in kennels/reactive/overwhelmed so going to a secure field is brilliant for them! We use them a huge amount for our dogs in kennels and foster - it gives them some freedom, trigger free environment and peaceful! its so nice to see our dogs relax and also whilst in kennels it gives them a day out.
Secure fields are an expense for our small rescue and we are spending about £150 a week on secure fields, you are able to donate the cost of a secure field at the link below - thank you!
