We have a partnership with Pets at Home Lanark and have been attending the store with our stall.
Keep an eye on our FB were we share the dates we will be in store, we will be in a few dates in the run up to Christmas. We loved our October stall, we meet so many people who were looking to adopt, foster and volunteer - its always great to meet people and we love chatting about the rescue! if you are interested in rehoming or volunteering, please pop along. Walk 100 miles for Staffie Smiles 💗
A huge congratulations to our dogs and Humans who completed the 100 miles in October for Staffie Smiles Rescue!
Alot of the dogs, well surpassed the 100 miles! They were all superstars and collectively raised over £1,500 for the rescue, this is a huge help to us and much appreciated!
We have loved watching and hearing all about the dogs adventures this month, we are already looking forward to the next one.

Staffie Smiles 2026 Calendar

Our Staffie Smiles 2026 calendar are under production, they are £13.80 including P+P. A huge thanks to the businesses who have sponsored our calendars, which has covered the cost of producing the calendars. This means every calendar bought the money goes straight into the rescue. If you would like to order more than 1 calendar, please drop us a email at [email protected]. Please note our calendars are still under production and will be sent out at the start of December. |
Bertie has been adopted 💗
Bertie has found his forever home and we couldn't be happier for him! Bertie was found straying and ended up in the pound, we offered Bertie a place at SSR.
Bertie is dog friendly and has been living with 2 other dogs in his foster home, he has settled in so well and loves the company of the other dogs! They have really helped him. We are so happy that Bertie's foster home have adopted Bertie, he has made himself at home and loves his outings to the beach on his long line!

Jollyes - Charity Partnership

We were chosen as Jollyes Edinburgh (Hermiston Gate) - The Pet People Charity Partner for this year! 🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. ❤️ 🐾 Jollyes will be running a tin donation drive in store, with all donations going directly to help our dogs. 🐾 We’ll also be setting up stalls in the shop throughout the year – so keep your eyes peeled for us when you visit! 🐾 There is also a donation bin in store were you can donate food, toys, blankets ect Thank you for your continued support – every tin, every visit, and every kind word makes such a difference to the dogs in our care. 🐶💙 |
Pippa has been adopted 💗
Beautiful Pippa found herself in the pound, we were able to help Pippa and offer her a place with SSR. Luckily for Pippa there was an amazing home waiting to adopt Pippa.
Pippa has settled into her forever home so well! we couldn't have asked for it to go any better. Pippa has made herself at home, loving her new walks especially to the beach and has even made some new doggy friends.

Hope & Levi - Staffie Sofa Club💗
Our forever fosters Hope and Levi, have had a very busy October being the best foster sister & brother.
Hope and Levi helped look after Astra for a few weeks, Astra found herself in kennels and a local rescue were able to help, but they needed help for a few weeks, so up stepped Hope and Levi to offer up a space on their couch. Astra is blind, but that doesn't stop her and Hope and Levi were so good with her, they really helped her confidence.
Next up for fostering was little Sunny, a 4 month old staffie puppy needing a foster home before finding his forever home. Hope loved playing with Sunny and will need a well deserved sleep now that he has found his home, Levi was so patient with the puppy and was happy to snuggle up with him.
Hope and Levi are such great ambassadors for bullbreeds, we are so proud of them 💗

We are sooo happy that Bella aka Pumba has been adopted!
Bella came to us in the summer, she had been tied to a tree and abandoned. It was clear Bella had been used for breeding over and over again, Bella moved to our own kennels were she has been for a few months, were Paula & Craig looked after her whilst doing lots of training and walking! With your donations towards kennel sponsorship we were able to pay for weekly training and dog walks for Bella - so thank you. Bella has settled in so well into her forever home, she has defiantly claimed the sofa for herself, she loves walks and in true staffie fashion destroying every toy! |
