Please read the dogs profile before applying. Only applications that meet the dog's needs will be considered.
All our dogs will be neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Dogs - Unassessed, has walked with a female dog with committee members, showed no reaction, was interested in other dog but easily distracted - needs further assessment.
Kids - 12+
Cats - No
History... Finn found himself in kennels and we are helping to rehome him.
More about me...
Finn is a brilliant young dog, and we have found him to be a sweet and loving wee pal. While he is currently undergoing assessment, here's what we know so far:
• He displays impeccable manners on a lead, walking calmly without pulling and listening attentively when guided, even around other dogs.
• He has been walking well alongside both male and female dogs. Although he shows initial interest and excitement, he can easily be re-engaged and focused. A few training sessions around other dogs would be beneficial, as he may not have encountered many in his life, but all signs are encouraging.
• Finn takes treats gently and is a well-behaved boy. He parks his butt into a sit and waits patiently.
• He is good in the car! Initially unsure, he accepted a little boost to help him in and then relaxed to sleep for the remainder of the drive.
• Finn absolutely LOVES his toys and is quite the playful pup! He enjoys playing by himself and often takes a victory lap around the barn while proudly carrying his toys. It’s adorable!
• He does require further guidance on how to play with others. Currently, during games like tug, he gets overstimulated and struggles with what to do next. We would like him to attend a few more training sessions regarding this before he is ready for rehoming.
• He would best suit an owner with bullbreed experience
• While we welcome applications for Finn, please note that he is still under assessment, and we kindly ask for your patience until he is fully prepared for adoption.
Finn will require a committed home with regular walks, training and routine.
