Kids - 12+
Cats - No

History... Owner surrender both dogs due to work commitments. They have been with the owner for 5 years and are very much loved family pets. This has been a very and sad hard discission for the owner to make.

More about us...

They are both crate trained Lulu is known to break out the crate, typical staffie. Mylo will happily chill in a crate, he sometimes does not want to come out of it when its in the car though. I tend to just put beds in the back of the car for them to lie down. they travel well in the car.

They are both toilet trained and can be left alone if the new owner has to go out. Neither of them chew or are not destructive at all.

They both walk great on the lead together and love to play.  Mylo is good with other dogs (all animals in general) but Lulu can sometimes be temperamental with other dogs that come into her space and she absolutely hates cats!

They are both great with kids and have been around kids while i have had them. I’ve had them both for approx 5 years and haven’t had one issue with them they really are great dogs.

Health wise Lulu is in perfect health. Mylo has recently been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and is on medication daily for the rest of his life. This doesn’t bother him at all though. They are both are up to date with vaccines and see the vet regularly (although Mylo hates the vets)

It breaks my heart to have to rehome them but it is the best for them as i am away a lot with work and its not fair on them. Please consider giving them a home they are great wee dogs and so lovable.

From their owner x

We might split them up if the homes were found to be suitable for the dogs needs being on their own.

UPDATE Jan 27th
We have now split Mylo and Lulu up into separate foster homes as they were stressing each other out at the kennels. This is to see how they get on being an only dog in the home. So far they are both doing great.

Lulu is a wee love bug who loves everybody she meets. She will roll over for a belly rub and love to carry a stuffed toy around with her in the house or when she comes to great you. She loves her walks and takes everything in her stride. This wee girl has so much love to give , her foster faiily have only had her a short time but they totally love her.

UPDATE Feb 2023  - from Lulu's foster family
Hi! My name is Lulu and my foster mom and dad absolutely adore me!
We have been together for a little over 3 weeks and I have really begun to settle into our routine. I have always been a good girl, but was a little nervous at first, which is to be expected after moving around so much lately. As the weeks have passed, I have become even more laid back and love to chill on the couch, in bed, or on the floor while the humans work. While I prefer it if they work from home, I am crate trained and have been left for 3.5 hours at a time so far and act like a perfect lady. My foster mom
is a veterinary student, so she has been practicing her skills on me. I think it’s weird but don’t mind. I have even become comfortable with my toes being touched!

I absolutely love food but, if you ask me, I will sit and wait until you say “okay” to eat my meals after you put them down on the ground. I like to graze throughout the day, so don’t expect me to eat everything at once. I am a fast learner and want to please, but my previous living situation didn’t teach me the difference between human food and dog food, so I will try to take your snacks if you leave them out. My foster parents have been working with me and I am getting better at not begging, but it is a work in
progress. Sometimes they put me in my crate while they eat and that helps remind me it isn’t “Lulu food” time. I also know the difference between my toys and human items, so haven’t tried to eat any furniture, socks, shoes, etc. On that note, I LOVE toys and would appreciate as many as you want to give me.

I am a quiet dog, and my foster parents commended me on this right away. They live in a busy apartment building and I rarely bark. I get excited when people come to the door, but I don’t cause a ruckus. My foster parents love the “pig noises” I make when we play. Speaking of playing, I am mouthy. I don’t bite but do like to gently gnaw on things. I am also learning to only chew on toys, not people (even though it’s gentle and I never hurt anyone), because they say some people may be alarmed by my
mouthiness.

I am also perfectly house trained. Since I am a grown up I can wait a long time before needing to go potty, and will sleep perfectly through the night. Speaking of sleeping, I love sleeping under blankets. I am told it’s very cute. I have a special blanket that I get “tucked in” under each night. It helps me feel safe.

I used to live with another dog, and we mostly got on well. Since moving in with my foster parents I haven’t had the chance to interact closely with other dogs. They live in a very busy area in the city, so sometimes I feel over stimulated. I mostly want to play with other dogs but get easily over excited. This manifests as being overly interested and we’ve decided I would benefit with some training and confidence building around other dogs. I have a strong prey drive and wish I could catch birds, but
unfortunately I cannot fly.

I absolutely LOVE people. My foster parents have taken me on the bus, on hikes, and to a pub. If there is a person around, I want to be their friend. I walk really well and don’t pull unless something is very stimulating. That being said, it is easy to get my attention again and we can continue a relaxing walk. My foster dad has taken me running and says I’m a great running partner! They also gave me a bath and I did a really good job. I like smelling nice and clean!

I would do great in a home not as stimulating as the city center. I am okay with bikes, strollers,
ambulances, cars, and skateboards. I really want to be your new cuddle buddy, but also love long walks and hikes. I’m up for whatever you’re up for! Overall, I am a huge love that just needs a little time to settle in and feel a sense of routine. Then you won’t be able to get enough of my silly, loving personality. I want to be your next shadow! Xxx
