When i first arrived in rescue......
I am in a lovely foster home and have a pal called buddy. He is showing me the ropes around here.
From his foster mum Sarah
Snoop is a full of fun and love, he absolutely loves his hoomans, loves cuddles and kisses and snuggling in. He is full of energy and excitement but this can be managed really well as he listens well.He is currently in foster with another SBT Male. Although snoop gets on amazing with His foster brother he does not seem to like other dogs on walks, I believe this is because he is on a lead and I am pulling him towards me as we walk past, He will bark and pull towards other dogs when walking past but this can definitely be worked on with him as he’s a very clever boy and likes to listen to his hoomans. When he is on the lead and you walk towards a dog (for example you’re meeting a friend with their dog) he seems to be ok with this as I am not pulling him away or walking past.
Snoop knows his name and listens well, he is a cheeky boy but he will sit and go and lie down when told. He needs someone that can be firm with him and be able to handle his strength on the lead.( he’s quite the puller) I have not had him off the lead but his re call at home and out on the training lead is good.
Snoop can be left in his own bed in another room at night time and you won’t hear a peep, he’s a good boy and when I come through in the morning he is sitting on his bed with a big wagging tail. ( we are trying the crate tonight, he has been in and out of it today with no issues so fingers crossed.
When I left Him the first time for just 30 minutes the neighbour said he cried for a few minutes and a couple of barks but she never heard a peep afterwards he also surprised me with a little poop! But Yesterday I left him for a whole 2 hours and from the sounds of it he just slept in his bed. Came home to no accidents either.
I was on a 10 hour shift today and had people in and out to walk him and let him out for pee’s etc. He did amazingly and was absolutely no bother!! Happy to sleep in cage with door open and no vandalism.
Whoever adopts this little man will have a best friend for life ❤️
