Meet Levi - Staffie Smiles Sponsor Dog
Levi came to SSR from the pound in the summer 2023, In kennels Levi was extremely stressed, loosing weight and lead ragging. Levi was finding kennels extremely stressful and was loosing fur, couldn't relax and was constantly hyped up, so one of our Trustees took him home were he has now become a sponsor dog due to his needs.
Levi is such a cheeky character and is known affectionately as a grumpy old man, who makes us all laugh. He is very vocal and we get constant chatter and growls, Levi will let you know if you are taking to long giving him treats, but this is just his way of communicating with us and we listen to him. Levi has been working on his lead ragging and impulse control, this has improved massively and he know enjoys going walks.
Levi has come along way from that stressed little dog in the summer and has settled in well to his forever foster home, he is now able to join the resident dogs and especially loves cuddling up on the couch with them. Levi loves his bed and will get right under the covers and snore his head off, he especially loves meeting new people.
