Foster Update (28/05/24)
Rocky has moved to a foster home in the last week due to his owner being in hospital, it is still early days but Rocky is doing really well. Rocky is living with 2 other dogs and is enjoying there company, they are teaching him boundaries and Rocky is listening to them, he responds really well to direction. Rocky was unsettled the first few nights but is now taking himself off to the couch and getting a good sleep, he is also able to take himself off for a nap and settle when his foster mums are working in a different room.
Rocky is a bit on the chunky side so is doing small walks whilst he settles, but he will benefit from a good exercise routine and he loves going on walks. Rocky loves the garden and sunbathing, what staffie doesn't! Rocky is a bit nervous to start with on initial meets but then will happily take some belly rubs. Rocky also loves being in the car. Rocky has itchy skin and a recent vets visit has prescribed him aquopel to get it under control. Rocky is a really friendly, happy boy who will make such a great addition to a family.
Owner Surrender
Rocky is a much loved companion, but unfortunately due to his Owner's health he is unable to give him the care he needs. Rocky is only 3 years old and is a well behaved boy, he is house trained. Rocky has lived a sheltered life with his owner, they have always been together. It is not known what Rocky is like left on his own, he would suit a household were somebody is at home majority of the time and build up leaving him. Rocky is non-destructive in the house and can be a bit nervous on initial meet.
Rocky has been neutered and is dog friendly, Rocky would benefit from building his confidence up by ongoing training and socialisation once settled in his new home.
All our dogs will be Neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
